We Recycle!
We’ve been recycling for over 20 years – before it was “cool”. All firewood gets split, sold, and burned. We take the time, which costs money, to make sure we have clean loads of chips to redistribute in neighborhoods for gardens, groundcover, dust control, horse trails, and community gardens. This entails making an effort of advertising and answering a lot of phone calls, but we make a lot of friends that way! Any loads that aren’t clean enough, in the sense that they may have a lot of weeds, an excessive amount of palm, or some rotten chunks of wood, we take to a recycling station where they further process it and haul it to central California to burn at the PG&E plant in Delano for power.
